Great River Greening, the City of Wayzata, Cargill, and other partners are coordinating a major Earth Day and Arbor Day Community Event to plant more than 1,700 trees and perennials as part of the Bushaway Road Reconstruction by Hennepin County. This exciting event will engage 200 volunteers of all ages in landscaping a 2-mile stretch of the reconstructed Bushaway Road, a historic scenic roadway that is Wayzata’s eastern gateway to the Lake Minnetonka experience.

On Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., volunteers will gather to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day by planting trees and perennials along Bushaway Road/Highway 101, to restore the landscape of the reconstructed stretch of this historic scenic roadway. Light breakfast, snack and lunch provided. All ages welcome, children must be supervised. Pre-registration is required, so sign up today! GreatRiverGreening.org/vol-events/
