Wayzata Beach Lifeguards on duty starting June 10

lifeguard on duty at beach

Wayzata Beach will have lifeguards on duty beginning June 10 through August 13 from noon to 6 p.m. daily, weather permitting. All public parks are closed for access between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. Parking permits are needed at the beach for some parking spaces. Beach parking permits are free to residents and are available at City Hall. Permits also allow residents into the compost site at Public Works. Residents must provide name, address, and license plates numbers registered at their Wayzata address to obtain a permit. A number of non-permit parking spaces are available at the back of the lot and along streets.
