Wayzata Parks and Trails Master Plan-- We need your input!


Wayzata’s Parks and Trails Board has been working on a Master Plan for the City’s Parks and Trails to guide future changes and improvements. With the help of Confluence, the consultant the City has hired to assist with the Master Plan, ideas have been sketched out for each of our parks. These sketches were prepared based on thoughts on local, regional, and national innovations and trends from other communities, along with input the community has provided through surveys online, at community events such as James J. Hill Days and the Wayzata Art Experience, and importantly in consideration of the City’s Wayzata 2040 Community Vision project.

Input, feedback, and comments on these sketches is important to the Master Planning process. This input can be provided in two ways:

  1. Attend one of the three meetings: August 1, 5:30-7 p.m.; August 6, 4-5:30 p.m.; or August 9, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the community room. These meetings are the same set up and are scheduled different days and times for your convenience.
