Compost & Yard Waste

031519-autumn-leaves

It’s that time of year--time to clean up all the leaves that have fallen down in your yard! The City of Wayzata’s compost site is available for soft-bodied yard waste, such as grass and leaves. The compost site, located at Public Works, 299 Wayzata Boulevard West, is open from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for holidays. The compost site is open weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) in October and the first two weekends in November from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The compost site is for Wayzata residents only. Residents must obtain an annual beach parking and compost permit at City Hall. Wayzata residents can take brush to the Plymouth Yard Waste Site with a driver’s license. For additional information, go to www.wayzata.org/compost or call Wayzata Public Works at 952-404-5363.
