Project Description
Developer Lake West has submitted a new application to redevelop the property at 200 Lake St E, also known as the former TCF Bank building. The proposed project would include a single mixed-use building with 30 residential units, 28,240 sq. ft. of ground-floor commercial space, and underground parking.
The developer has submitted previous applications that were reviewed and denied by the Planning Commission and City Council. For more information on prior applications, visit the Agenda Center to view prior public materials in Planning Commission and/or City Council packets. The most recent application was considered in April of 2022.
The applicant is requesting:
- Rezoning of the property from Planned Unit Development to C-4A, Limited Central Business District
- Shoreland Impact Plan (SIP) Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Impervious Surface
- Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for first-floor dwelling units
- Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for joint parking facilities
- Planned Unit Development (PUD) Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for more than five dwelling units on a single lot within the Shoreland Overlay District
- Design Review for Final Plans
