The owner of the restaurant Baja Haus has submitted an application to make a patio in front of the building permanent. The patio was previously permitted under the City's pandemic relief policy.

A development application has been submitted to support a restaurant at 712 Lake St E, the former Fitspace building. The applicant is seeking a variance to reduce the parking requirement along with conditional use permits for shared parking and the City's fee-in-lieu-of-parking program.

1022 Wayzata Blvd E (June 2022 Application)
A development application has been submitted for a Caribou Cabin/Urban Wok to replace the vacant gas station building at 1022 Wayzata Blvd E. Applicant Reprise Design is proposing a one-story building with a drive-through for the Caribou, and is requesting a conditional use permit for drive-through restaurant use, a lot combination with the adjacent vacant parcel to the south, and amendments to the zoning map and comprehensive plan to zone the vacant lot for commercial use.

445 Bovey Road
A development application has been submitted by the applicant 688 Bryant LLC for a variance to construct a driveway. The variance would allow the driveway to encroach upon a 10-foot side yard setback. The driveway is intended to serve a future single-family home on the site.

803 Lake St E - The Good Clinic
The Wayzata Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a development application from the applicant The Good Clinic, LLC to operate a primary care medical clinic with a retail component at 803 Lake Street East. This location is a part of the Promenade Planned Unit Development (PUD) that limits the uses allowed on the ground floor of building fronting on Lake Street East and Superior Boulevard to retail and restaurants. The PUD agreement provides for non-retail and non-restaurant uses to apply for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to be located in these restricted areas if they encourage pedestrian activity.
