Owner Wayzata Bay Superior Retail has submitted a development application to convert the former Lunds and Byerly's space at 825 Mill St to 12 residential apartments.
The development project includes the following requests:
Planned Unit Development Amendment to allow for residential use instead of commercial use
Shoreland Conditional Use Permit to allow for increase in overall density in the Shoreland Overlay District

Planning Commission (public hearing) - Monday, November 6, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. The Planning Commission voted 4-3 to recommend approval of the application.
Planning Commission (consent agenda) - Monday, November 20, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
City Council (tentative) - Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. (Updated from December 2023)
