Thank you for your continued patience as construction forges ahead on Lake Street.

On Wednesday, May 13, Lake Street will be closed to vehicles from Broadway Avenue to to Barry Avenue. Pedestrians will still be able to access sidewalks on the north side of the road. Parking is available in the municipal parking lots off of Broadway and Walker avenues. Please follow the posted detour signs and refer to the detour map below.

During the week, crews will pour the concrete for new curbs and gutters at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Lake Street, and remove pavement on Lake Street between Walker and Minnetonka avenues.

As a reminder, please stay clear of the job site and avoid walking along the railroad tracks if you come downtown to enjoy the nice weather or get takeout from local restaurants. These measures will keep everyone safe.
