Wayzata Art Experience - Next Week!The Wayzata Art Experience will return next weekend on June 26th & 27th to Lake Street and draw art lovers from across the Twin Cities with its annual 2-day celebration of art, music, food, and fun for all ages. This event is hosted by the Greater Wayzata Area Chamber of Commerce and will feature 100 juried artists, sailboat rides, food trucks and more.

Watering Restrictions are in EffectWith the recent heat, the City of Wayzata is nearing drought conditions. As a reminder, the City has an annual Ordinance restricting water use from May 1 - Sept. 30.

Short DMV Closure on June 22ndThe Wayzata Department of Motor Vehicle will be closed on Tuesday June 22nd from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. for staff training.

The Wayzata Conservancy Welcomes 8 New Board MembersThe Wayzata Conservancy has elected 8 new members to their Board of Directors! “I am thrilled to welcome these talented individuals as their unique backgrounds and diverse experience will make them a great asset to the Wayzata Conservancy's board. They will play an important role in supporting the City's efforts to implement the Lake Effect plan to complete the construction of Panoway on Wayzata Bay." -Wayzata Mayor, Johanna Mouton

Become a Night to Unite Block Party Host for Your NeighborhoodNeighborhoods across Wayzata have been gathering to celebrate Night to Unite for more than 40 years! On August 3rd, there will be a kickoff luncheon (more details to come). Later that evening, Wayzata Police, Fire, City staff, elected officials, and McGruff, will visit neighborhood parties throughout Wayzata and Long Lake. Along with the police cars and fire trucks, there will be trinkets for kids and a crime prevention message at each stop. This is a great time to ask questions of elected officials, police officers, firefighters, and City staff.

State Offers Vaccine RewardsThe State of Minnesota is offering rewards for the first 100,000 Minnesotans, aged 12 and older, who get their first COVID-19 vaccine between May 27 through June 30, 2021. Rewards include passes to the Minnesota State Fair, baseball games, Valleyfair and more. The rewards request form will be open on this page from June 1 through June 30.

The construction of a sidewalk along Circle A Dive is complete. The contractor has now begun pouring curb in preparation for a new sidewalk on Hollybrook Road. This project will be completed late July.
