A Meaningful Anniversary Event on 9/11

On September 11th, in partnership with The Wayzata Conservancy, the new 9/11 memorial was unveiled on Lake Street. This memorial honors and remembers all who were injured or perished, all volunteers and first responders who united to answer the call, and those were touched by the events of September 11, 2001.

“The memorial we are here to unveil will continue to serve as a reminder of that fateful day and reflections of a grateful community.”

- Johanna Mouton, Mayor of Wayzata
