Did you know October is Energy Month? To help you keep energy bills low and stay comfortable in the cooler weather, we’re sharing a new energy-saving tip each week in October.
Energy Tip of the Week: Switch to LED Lights The sun is setting earlier each day – the longer you keep your lights on, the more energy you’re using. Swap out old conventional bulbs for more efficient LED bulbs. They last longer and use about 6 times less energy, plus they come in a variety of shapes and color temperatures to meet your needs.
Xcel Energy teamed up with retailers to offer special discounts. Check out xcelenergy.com/bulbfinder to see which retailers are offering deals near you.
