Proposals Under Review

Development Application for Cantissimo Senior Living

A development application has been submitted by the applicant(s) Pillar/Senior Lifestyle Living LLC to construct a new 40-unit, 2-story assisted living facility at 15419/15429 Wayzata Blvd and 1405 Holdridge Terrace. The applicant is requesting a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and a Planned Unit Development Concept Plan. The Planning Commission voted to advance the proposal in their December 6 meeting, and the proposal will be on the Commission’s consent agenda at their February 7th meeting.

Development Application for Wayzata Beach Club (200 Lake Street)

A development application has been submitted by the applicant Lake West Development for a project at 200 Lake Street, the former TCF Bank corporate headquarters. The proposal is for a mixed use project that removes the existing TCF Bank building and proposes two new three-story buildings with 32 housing units on the second and third floor, commercial on the first floor; underground mechanized parking, two parks, and a central plaza. The applicant is requesting a Planned Unit Development Concept Plan. A neighborhood meeting was held on January 5. The initial public hearing for the proposal will take place at their February 7th meeting.
