Sewer lining is a quick and economical process compared to replacing pipes by open excavation.

The 2022 project is scheduled to begin in May, and proposes to line over 13,000 feet of sewer main in the following areas:

  • Beaver Dam Street East
  • Benton Avenue North
  • Broadway Avenue North
  • Broadway Avenue South
  • Chicago Avenue North
  • Chicago Avenue South
  • Cross Street
  • Gardner Street East
  • Grand Avenue South
  • Minnetonka Avenue North
  • Minnetonka Avenue South
  • Park Street East
  • Rice Street East
  • Walker Avenue North
  • Wayzata Boulevard East
In addition to the rehabilitation (lining) work, the City is planning to clean and inspect several sanitary sewer mains that are located in easements between Ferndale Road South and Lake Minnetonka, and in easements along Harrington Road and Ramsey Road near Lake Minnetonka. All rehabilitation, cleaning, and inspection work is expected to be completed by the end of October.
