National Police Week & Public Works Week

Wayzata is so lucky to have both of these departments holding the community together, each in their own way. The Wayzata Police Department works hard each day to keep our community safe, informed and engaged and The Public Works Department works tirelessly to plow, plant, and maintain a pristine town. Help us say thank you to our amazing staff in these departments this week!

It is also very important to acknowledge that May 15th was National Peace Officers Memorial Day. We want to pay special recognition to our law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of Wayzata. It is the ultimate sacrifice. Let us always remember Officer William A. Mathews and Sergeant James W. Anderson.
