Proposals Under Review

201 Lake Street East
An application has been submitted to redevelop the Coldwell Banker Burnet building at 201 Lake Street East. Applicants Lowell Zitzloff and Family are proposing to replace the existing office building with a 3-story mixed-use building. A neighborhood meeting held by the applicant is scheduled on Tuesday, August 30, at City Hall from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Project materials will be available on the City website after community feedback has been integrated into the current plans

341 Ramsey Road

A revised development application has been submitted at 341 Ramsey Road for an attached garage requiring variances for rear yard setback, hardcover, and lot coverage. The owners previously submitted a similar application that was recommended for denial by the Planning Commission this spring. The revised application for the garage requires one less variance.

The Planning Commission recommended denial of the application. The City Council meeting will be in the fall.

344 Ferndale Road North – Subdivision
A development application has been submitted at 344 Ferndale Road North, currently the site of one single family home. The owners propose to split the existing lot into two, keep their current house, and build a new home on the second parcel. A detached garage would be demolished.

The Planning Commission recommended approval of the application with conditions at their August 1 meeting. The City Council meeting will be in the fall.
