ground breaking from 2023

A Year in Review:

The Stories That Made 2023

In 2023, the City worked to enhance the operations and services provided to residents and continued to grow and operate at a high level to meet the ever-changing needs of residents, businesses, and visitors.

The 2023 Annual Report is a reflection of how truly dedicated and committed our staff, City officials, and community members are to providing high levels of customer service and enhancing the community. We are proud of the progress made this year on many projects including the approval of the final Wayzata Boulevard Corridor Study, the kickoff of construction for the Panoway Lakewalk, and the completion of the Ferndale Sidewalk, all to make the community more walkable and safe.

wayzata marina in winter

Marina Dredging Project

The City has contracted with Minger Construction to dredge the two lagoons at the Wayzata marina. The marina was last maintained (dredged) over 25 years ago and it has been determined that enough sediment accumulation has occurred to warrant maintenance. Minger mobilized and began work in mid-January. The project is expected to be completed in early March, weather permitting.
