marina

Marina Dredging Project

Because of the unseasonable weather, the contractor was not able to complete this project as originally designed, however, they were able to complete the dredging in the two primary areas of sedimentation, along the north end of the marina and adjacent to the entrance to the channel.

Work has been completed for the season and staff will evaluate alternatives to possibly complete the originally designed project in the future.

Keep Your Home Safe & Secure While You’re Away on Spring Break

With spring break trips coming up, here are some quick reminders to keep your home safe and secure while you are gone:

  • Unplug electronics that don’t need power
  • To deter break-ins, put lights on around the house on timers
  • Ask a neighbor to gather mail
  • Check to make sure all entry points of your home are secure
  • Avoid posting your trip on social media until you return

If you’re out of town for an extended period, let the Wayzata PD know and note any vehicles that will have permission to be on the property.
