Highway 12 Construction Updates

MnDOT is improving three miles of Highway 12 between Wayzata and Minnetonka through a major pavement preservation project. Work includes full reconstruction and pavement repairs, as well as important drainage improvements, which will support the overall maintenance and lifespan of the roadway.

Highway 12 will be reduced to two lanes in each direction between Shoreline Drive in Wayzata and I-494 in Minnetonka during construction. Lane closures are expected to begin early-mid April. Several ramps across the Highway 12 corridor will also be closed during the project. Motorists should expect delays, weekend closures as well as lane and ramp closures.
