We have 100 boat slips.

We average about 3-5 slips that open up per year.

3. If I win a boat slip, is there a limit on how many years I get to keep it?

No, as long as you continue to renew annually and pay applicable fees, the slip remains yours.

4. What type of regulations are there for permitted watercraft?

1. No watercraft shall exceed twenty-six (26) feet in length.
2. No watercraft shall have a beam/width exceeding eight and one-half (8 1/2) feet.
3. No watercraft shall have a draft in excess of thirty-six (36) inches.
4. Only one watercraft is allowed in any assigned slip, as specified under Lake Minnetonka Conservation District (LMCD) rules.

5. When does the City conduct their annual Boat Slip Lottery?

The annual Boat Slip Lottery is always the 1^st Tuesday of March.

6. How do I get entered into the annual Boat Slip Lottery?

We have a Boat Slip Application; We accept applications from November 1^st to the 1^st Tuesday of February. Applications are posted on the City website www.wayzata.org or can be picked up at City Hall. Application are limited to on per residence.

7. When can I put my boat in my slip?

All boats must be in their assigned slips by June 1^st

8. When does my boat need to be out of my assigned slip?

All boats must be off City property by November 1^st.
