Mr. Kukkonen is an automotive engineer by training and was a technical trainer and area manager for the Ford Motor Company in Europe. He founded Shift2Electric (formerly PlugInConnect) in 2010 to focus on electrifying the transportation industry and teaches the graduate course “EV Market and Technologies” at the University of St. Thomas.
